Dear Voters of Tanjong Bunga,My name is Chia Loong Thye. I am your candidate for the constituency of Tanjong Bunga in this coming general election. Although this is the first time I am contesting, I am familiar with this area. I was the election agent for three terms for Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr. Koh Tsu Koon, the former State Assemblyman for Tanjong Bunga, during the 1995, 1999 and 2004 general elections.
I am a lawyer with 22 years of experience and married with 3 children.
Not only will I continue with the good work that Tan Sri Dr. Koh Tsu Koon has done, I am fully committed to make Tanjong Bunga into a more vibrant, cohesive and caring community, and a better and safer place to live, work and play. My service team and I will visit the constituency frequently. Together with your participation, we will organize more activities in our constituency to foster greater community bonding and to enhance our senior citizens’ participation to stay active, healthy and happy. I will also generate creative programs for the youth and the young ones. I will promote greater appreciation of the environment in our constituency and encourage a more balanced development in our area.
